@buffalocrotch lol, i bought a HDMI cable on ebay for 50cent, Working perfectly. Shipping was a 1 Euro but thats a perfectly reasonable shipping cost.
@timsmail24487 – I probably was just in shock just as much as you are. who the hell buys this at the apple store? It’s just like going to Best Buy and buying an HDMI cable there for $30, when you can buy one on amazon for less than half that amount.

@dslaviero81 – it’s an ipod for people who have 1 leg shorter than the other, and listen to it while peddling their bikes around town. Just like the iPeed is for people who have bladder control problems.
@FoodBread – the sound on the Bose portable sounddock is pretty good, I bought it ,but at the same time I also bought the Altec Lansing Mix iMT810 – which sounds much better, has better fuller sound, so the Bose went back, because 400 US dollars for this portable sounddock is way overpriced, versus, I paid a little more than half for the Altec Lansing Mix.

I would go for an extension cable instead. That way you can bypass the ipads digital — analog converter. With the pin cable it transfers the audio digitally to the bose converter instead. Much better. You have a Nice dialect though..
